The
name MANDEL comes from a century-old almond-tree situated
inside of the discotheque.
In 1960 a dance-hall with the music of an
old juke-box was built around this almond-tree.
How many love-stories developped under this
almond-tree wiht the complicity of the moon, the stars and the
melody of the songs of the sixties.
There was also a hut-shaped room called
"La Capanna", where the ties of those who had found their
love were hung from the ceiling.
